Coot made the 2005 & 2006 National Derby (12 Points) running 16 Field Trials and placing or Jamming in 12. Coot made the list at 18 months old. Coot became qualified all age at 28 months running in only 3 trials.

Coot is a half brother (same dam) as the 2004 National Derby Champion ( FC AFC Taylorlab Downtown Dusty Brown).

Coot is a littermate to the 2005 Canadian National Derby dog (Taylorlab Tru Blue) and the # 10 dog in Canada. Coot is littermates to 5 Qualified All age dogs plus two AKC Master Hunters.

Coot earned his AKC Master Hunter Title going 6 of 7. Coot qualified at 2007 AKC Master National and is qualified for the 2008 Master National.

Coot at only 3 ½ years old wins the 2008 Super Retriever Series in Martin, TN and is qualified for the 2008 Super Retriever Series Crown Championship. Zucker is an unbelievable hunter.  She lives for it!  Zucker is a pinpoint marker, handles beautifully on blinds, and does it all with great style.  She runs as hard for blinds and as marks.  She loves training and learning new concepts.  She is one of the fastest and strongest dogs you will ever see run a test.  She has always placed in the top 3 in any of the timed retrieving events she has entered.  

Zucker did not start her official training and hunt test until she was over a year old because we were living in Switzerland.  After moving back to Texas and a month of hard training we started entering and passing both AKC and UKC hunt tests.  The first duck she ever saw was at her first test, which she passed!  She was a natural!

Zucker passed 5 consecutive Master tests to qualify for the 2009 Master National in Texas.  She did a great job while in Texas and handled the pressure, rain, and mud quite well.  Zucker passed her first attempt at the Master National to become a qualifier!  We are looking forwarding to pursuing her GRHRCH title, learning about the field trial game, and maybe even an SRS event or two.

Zucker's biggest handicap is being trained and handled by a complete amateur, me.  This is my first competition dog and I am learning so much.  The second is the lack of training equipment and facilities.   She has saved us in tests more times than I care to mention.  We are also very limited in the number of tests she has competed in because of the kids' schedule.  I only mention the above disadvantages because I truly believe that she has the potential to compete against the best of dogs in any competition and it is ALL natural.
